New Delhi, Aluminium prices fell by 45 paise to Rs 247.70 per kg in futures trade on Friday as participants cut their positions amid weak trend in the spot market.
Aluminium contracts for July delivery fell by 45 paise, or 0.18 percent, to Rs 247.70 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange in a business of 4,125 lots.
Analysts said aluminium prices fell mainly due to participants cutting their positions due to low demand from consumer industries.
