Anita Hasanandani express her mother was against her relationship with Ajaz Khan because he was Muslim, she revealed three dangers of Ajaz Khan: ‘Check his phones’

Actress Anita Hasnandani opened up about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Eijaz Khan and said that she regrets changing herself to please Eijaz. She also listed the three red flags that made her take away from the time she spent with him, and admitted that her mother was not supportive of the relationship due to Eijaz’s religious background. Anita has been married to Rohit Reddy since 2013.
In an interview with Hautterfly, she was asked about her much-talked-about relationship with Eijaz, who is also a popular actor on television. She said, “It was one of the first few long relationships of my life, and I even went against my mother because he was from another culture. He was Muslim, and I am Hindu. She didn’t outright refuse it, but she always had her concerns. We were good individually, but we weren’t good for each other. It didn’t work out, and that’s it.”
Anita granted that it was a ‘difficult breakup’, and it took her over a year to get over it. She said that, “Someone wanting to change you to love you is not love. But I didn’t Understand it then, because I was in love, and I was willing to change for the person I loved. I wish I hadn’t changed so much, and I would have been myself. I would have been a different person… It took me over a year to move on. I literally moved to my best friend’s house because I was so depressed. Every morning, she would cheer me up…”.
When asked if she noticed any red flags during the relationship that she made sure to keep an eye on in the future, Anita said, “Most importantly, don’t stay with someone who is trying to change you. Keep checking their phone from time to time, because that is important. If he is hiding his phone, keeping it upside down, something is wrong boss. Thirdly, he is taking you away from family and friends. You have to find a balance and prioritise correctly.”
This is not the first time she has spoken about Aijaz. In a nowaday interview with Siddharth Kannan, she said that she left a Tamil film because of Aijaz. “I learnt a lot, I became a better person, we were two very good people who were not good for each other. The only thing I regret is that I left my wonderful career,” she said.
