Tripura Govt Signs 3 Historic MoUs With NSE To Boost Financial Literacy And Investment

In a step towards economic prosperity through entry into the capital market, the Tripura Government today signed three historic agreements with the National Stock Exchange.
The MoUs were signed at Pragya Bhavan in Agartala in the presence of Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha.
The Chief Minister said that this agreement is a significant milestone towards strengthening financial literacy, skill development, and entrepreneurship in the state.
He stated that the core objectives of this initiative are:
Empowering Youth – by providing financial education and enhancing job-oriented skills.
Supporting MSMEs – by creating opportunities for local businesses and industries to access the capital market.
Skill Development – by training government officials on financial and economic strategies.
Boosting Investment – by building a dynamic and vibrant investment ecosystem in Tripura.
The Chief Minister added that through this initiative, the State Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (SIPARD) has become one of the first government training institutions in India to establish such a large-scale strategic partnership with an institution like NSE. This sets a national benchmark in institutional capacity building.
He described this effort as a crucial step towards building a stronger Tripura.
