A gym center named ‘The Royal Gym’ was inaugurated by Khangabok AC MLA Okram Surjakumar in Thoubal district, opposite the Wangjing Kodompokpi Sports Complex. The owner, retired Associate Professor Sorokhaibam Hari, opened the gym to steer youth away from drug abuse and promote healthy living. MLA Surjakumar emphasized the neglect of physical health among the current generation and highlighted the importance of regular exercise for brain development. The event was attended by notable figures, including Dr. Micky, President S. Chaoba of Lamding Ikop Ningthou Haraoba Thougal Lup, International Bodybuilder Nepram Kishan, and local councillors, who supported the initiative to guide youth towards a positive path.
