ICICI Prudential Life BSE Enhanced Value 30 Index Fund Targets Disciplined Value Exposure

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has announced the launch of the ICICI Prudential Life BSE Enhanced Value 30 Index Fund for customers investing through its Unit Linked Insurance Plans (ULIPs), aiming to provide long-term wealth creation opportunities through disciplined exposure to value-focused equities.

The company said the fund is designed to invest in 30 attractively valued companies from the BSE Large & Mid-cap universe using parameters such as book value-to-price, earnings-to-price and sales-to-price ratios. The fund follows a passive, rule-based index-mirroring strategy with periodic review and rebalancing to maintain diversification across sectors and market capitalisation segments.

Manish Kumar, Chief Investment Officer of the company, said the new fund offers customers a transparent and structured way to participate in equity markets while focusing on companies with strong fundamentals and attractive valuations. He added that the disciplined investment framework is aimed at helping investors remain confident during volatile market conditions.

According to the company, the ICICI PRU BSE Enhanced Value Index delivered annualised returns of 32 per cent over three years, 28.9 per cent over five years and 19.4 per cent over ten years as of March 30, 2026. The fund will be available through ULIP products including ICICI Pru Signature Assure, SmartKid Assure and Smart Insurance Plan Plus (SIP+).
