ICICI Prudential Life Insurance is expanding the use of artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure in insurance distribution with the launch of ‘ICICI Life Partner Stack 2.0’, an upgraded platform designed to equip advisors and distribution partners with technology across sales, onboarding and customer servicing.
The platform’s eQuote App uses an AI-based product recommender to identify suitable products based on customer segment and life stage and enables personalised quotations. LIVA, an AI-enabled chatbot, gives advisors conversational access to product features and quotations.
“Our advisors and distribution partners play an important role in helping customers understand and access life insurance solutions. ICICI Life Partner Stack 2.0 is aimed to give them digital and AI-enabled tools that make everyday operations simpler and customer friendly – from identifying suitable solutions and generating quotations to onboarding and servicing,” said Amish Banker, Chief Distribution Officer, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance.
The innovation extends beyond AI. More than 200 partner-system integrations connect the platform with CRM systems, while APIs enable digital service requests, group member submissions, claims and servicing requirements.
Integrations with UIDAI, CERSAI, Vahan, GSTN, EPFO, CAS and Perfios can pre-fill up to 70% of application forms. Revamped retail and group portals provide access to client details, reports, remuneration and servicing capabilities.
The platform also supports ASBA and WhatsApp premium payments and AI-enabled pre-issuance video verification for underwriting and fraud checks.
ICICI Prudential Life said 99% of business applications are now received digitally. In Q1 FY2027, the company recorded 27 million digital service interactions, while 54% of savings policies were issued the same day. Its claim settlement ratio stood at 99.3%, with a one-day average turnaround for non-investigated individual death claims.
