OnePlus India has officially pulled the wraps off its latest mid-range contenders, the Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite, setting a new benchmark for endurance and display fluidness in the sub-₹30,000 segment. Launched on Thursday, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 starts at ₹29,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant, while the Nord CE 6 Lite enters at a competitive ₹20,999. The standout feature of the standard CE 6 is its industry-leading 8,000mAh “Silicon Carbon” battery, which supports 80W SUPERVOOC charging and 27W wired reverse charging, effectively doubling as a power bank for other devices. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display protected by “Crystal Guard” glass, boasting a peak brightness of 3,600 nits.
The Nord CE 6 Lite equally impresses with a massive 7,000mAh battery and 45W charging, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex processor. Both devices carry a robust IP69K rating for extreme water and dust resistance and have passed military-grade durability testing. On the imaging front, the Nord CE 6 features a 50MP main sensor with OIS and a 32MP autofocus selfie camera, both capable of 4K video recording. Running on OxygenOS 16 (Android 16), the series introduces a suite of “Dual AI” tools for study and photography, including AI Eraser and AI Perfect Shot. Open sales begin May 8, 2026, via Amazon and the OnePlus store, with launch offers including a ₹2,000 instant bank discount and up to 6 months of no-cost EMI, bringing the effective starting price of the CE 6 down to ₹27,999.
