According to a latest statement issued by the authorities of the SpiceJet Airline yesterday, all its flights to and from the Bir Tikendrajit International Airport, Imphal, have been cancelled from April 7, till April 14.
According to the Airline, the decision was taken up due to the operational reasons. The new initiative of the Airline will affect the Imphal-Guwahati and Imphal -Kolkata sectors. The Imphal Airport Authority has, in the meantime, requested the passengers to check with the airline for further updates and necessary arrangements.
The recently cancelled flights are SG488 – Kolkata -Imphal-Guwahati, and SG487 – Guwahati -Imphal -Kolkata.
Services of the SpiceJet Airline, connecting Imphal with Guwahati, Kolkata and Mumbai, were flagged off by Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on February 10, this year, at Bir Tikendrajit International Airport, Imphal.
