Swami Vigyananand Ji Addresses Business, Education, Thinkers and Activists in Guwahati, Giving Fresh Momentum to World Hindu Congress 2026 Preparations

Swami Vigyananand Ji addressed a special meeting of eminent personalities from business, education, media, and politics, along with thinkers and social activists in Guwahati, where the framework and significance of the upcoming World Hindu Congress 2026, Mumbai were discussed in detail. The event is scheduled to be held in Mumbai, India, from December 18–20, 2026.
Speaking at the meeting, Swami Ji said, “The land of Assam and Northeast India has for centuries been a witness to Hindu culture, its tradition of knowledge, and its spirit of struggle. Today, even as the Hindu society is gaining recognition worldwide for its presence and achievements, we must come together to safeguard our rights and identity. The World Hindu Congress is a platform for that very unity and collective resolve.”
The theme of World Hindu Congress 2026 is — “Samanam Vratam Saha Chittam – Shared Commitment, Collective Resolve.” This gathering is taking place at a historic juncture, when Hindu society is more capable and visible globally than ever before, yet continues to face prejudice and discrimination in several societies. Far from being merely a gathering of karyakartas, it will be a grand confluence of eminent personalities from business, education, media, and politics, along with thinkers and social activists from all walks of life.
Swami Ji explained that the World Hindu Congress’s seven key pillars will host parallel thematic conferences — Economy, Education, Media, Politics, Women, Youth, and Hindu Organisations. He said these seven pillars would work to bring the diversity, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit of Hindu society onto a shared platform, thereby strengthening meaningful collaboration among leadership, thinkers, and karyakartas.
Participants from Guwahati extended their full cooperation towards the success of World Hindu Congress 2026. This meeting marked an important milestone in a series of similar meetings being held across the country, laying the groundwork for this historic event in Mumbai in December 2026.
