Former Associate Professor of the Department of Botany, Dhanamajuri College of Science,Imphal, Dr. Elangbam Jadu Singh has passed away. He had also been serving as the Principal of the college.
The teaching and non-teaching staff of the College, conducted a condolence meeting at the College’s Botany department yesterday, over his sudden and untimely demise. Dr. Singh passed away on May 11,2026, due to a sudden health problem.
The staffs observed a two minute’s silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul and they sincerely shared the grief and sorrows of the bereaved family, said a condolence message, issued by the college.
