An Investiture Ceremony for the Governor’s Unit Citation -2026, was held yesterday at the Auditorium of the Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Palace Compound, Imphal.
The event was graced by the Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla. The Governor presented the Governor’s Citations to outstanding Units of Assam Rifles, Army, CRPF, BSF, BRTF, and Manipur Police, serving in different districts of the state.
The Governor presented the Citations, in recognition of their exemplary service in Manipur.
Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh; Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho; and Ministers – Konthoujam Govindas Singh and Khuraijam Loken Singh, also graced the occasion.
19 Garhwal Rifles; 38-Assam Rifles; 40-Assam Rifles; 17 Assam Rifles; 2-Mahar Regiment; 25-BRTF; Kakching District Police; Senapati District Police; Churachandpur District Police; 10 BSF;and 143 CRPF were the recipients of the Governor’s Unit Citation- 2026.
