Nissan Motor India has reported a landmark achievement with consolidated sales of over 99,000 units in FY2024-25, its best performance in seven years. This growth was led by the New Nissan Magnite, which contributed to a 35% year-on-year increase in sales. The company’s domestic sales totaled 28,000+ units, while exports hit an all-time high of 71,000+ units, expanding to over 65 international markets under its “One Car, One World” strategy.
The New Magnite, launched in October 2024, has been a game-changer in the B-SUV segment, with its bold design, feature-packed offerings, and fuel-efficient engine. Nissan also confirmed the introduction of a 7-seater B-MPV in FY25 and a 5-seater C-SUV in FY26, further strengthening its commitment to India.
New Magnite has been gaining traction, especially among young buyers and families looking for an affordable yet stylish vehicle. The vehicle’s compact size and versatility are particularly suited for the hilly terrain and narrow roads of the region. Local dealerships have seen a steady increase in interest, with customers appreciating its modern technology, spacious interior, and low maintenance cost. Nissan’s upward trajectory continues despite the 3% price increase in April 2025, signaling a strong future in the Indian market.
