Royaloak Furniture has strengthened its retail footprint in the Northeast with the launch of a 12,000-square-foot flagship store in Agartala, Tripura, bringing its Country Store collection to the city.
The new outlet offers furniture and home furnishing products across living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, study and office spaces, outdoor furniture, home décor and mattresses. The company said the expansion is aimed at meeting demand for quality and affordable furniture while creating employment opportunities and supporting a wider network of vendors and business partners.
The launch event was attended by Tripura Minister Tinku Roy, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Khayerpur MLA Ratan Chakraborty, Lohia Group of Companies Chairman Kailash Ch. Lohia, franchise partner Rahul Lohia and Royaloak Incorporation Franchise Head Kiran Chhabria.
In Agartala, the entry of a large organised furniture retailer adds to the city’s evolving home-improvement and consumer retail landscape. The availability of international-style designs and a broader product range at a local outlet could provide consumers with more organised retail options while creating opportunities for associated vendors and service providers.
Royaloak Chairman Vijai Subramaniam said the company already has more than 250 stores across India and the UAE and sees further potential in the Agartala market.
