The Governor of Assam presented renowned Manipuri folk artist and educator Mangka with the prestigious Women’s Achiever Award 2025. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry’s (FICCI) women’s wing, FLO Northeast, hosted the annual award ceremony, where the prize was given out. The celebration, which took place at the Vivanta Hotel on March 21st, honored notable people who have significantly impacted society. Mangka’s honor demonstrates their commitment to conserving ancient arts and nurturing emerging artists via instruction and music.
